The Process

Step 1

CONSULTATION + SITE MEASUREMENTS with Landscape Designer

We will meet you at your home and take the initial measurements + photos required and come up with an idea of where the project is headed. We will ask all the right questions and listen carefully to your wants and needs. Initial concepts and directions may be discussed.

Step 2

SITE ANLAYSIS

The most important part of any project. Once back in the office we will input the measurements into our design software and do a careful analysis of on-site conditions – property lines, setbacks, slopes, grade changes, drainage issues, restrictions, orientation, etc. The photos taken on site will be reviewed to ensure nothing was missed.

Step 3

CONCEPT PLANS

With a fully developed plan in hand we will return to your property to present the details of the proposed project including design features, material selections, and construction techniques. We will also provide an initial budget estimate that will be subject to design changes and further review.

Step 4

FINAL DESIGN + QUOTATION

Once we have gone through the revision process and finalized the plan, we can do a final review of all the fine details. In this stage we will also examine the final quotation line by line. With a signature of approval or our detailed contract, we can start to talk about scheduling the project in!

Step 5

CONSTRUCTION COORDINATION

We will take care of all the behind the scenes elements. Permits will be applied for as required, materials will be ordered, underground services will be located, and specialty trades will be coordinated. This is a very important step in the process to make sure the project runs smoothly.

Step 6

LANDSCAPE INSTALLATION

Our fleet will arrive complete with trucks, trailers, and equipment. More importantly though, we will have a comprehensive set of construction drawings to get us started. We like to work quickly and efficiently to minimize the negative impact on homeowners and their neighbours and we will take precautions to ensure the safety and cleanliness of our work sites.

Step 7

PROJECT COMPLETION

The most fulfilling part of the project for us. Once we are complete, we will do a final walk through the project with homeowners to ensure we have knocked off every detail and have met all of their needs. For us, the only thing we are interested in is seeing are smiles on our clients faces.
